For this assignment, students selected a detailed animal portrait photo of their choice and used the grid enlargement system to create their animal drawing. Each animal posed different challenges with texture and markmaking. Many students take portraits photos of their own family pets and are proud enough of their finished work to frame them and sometimes give them away as one of a kind gifts!
