I am an upbeat, innovative, and hard-working arts educator who passionately believes in the positive impact that relevant and meaningful arts education can have on individuals and on their school community. I am eager to develop an art program that is relevant to current trends in the arts and will place value on creative problem solving and the exploration of meaningful and diverse subject matter, all while expanding on technical abilities. I will value community involvement in order to encourage our students to feel connected and respected within their school and community. I am an actively exhibiting artist who holds annual solo art exhibitions as well as contributes to the community through public art works, workshops, and artist residencies. I have extensive experience in the leadership of school and community events working with all ages and abilities.
